James Bond is an iconic character, the quintessential super-spy, and the most successful “Ladies man.” There is a pretty woman whom Bond has to either woo or fall in love with for every bond villain. Each bond movie has at least one love interest, either from the good guys’ side or the villain’s employ.

Bond has a way with the ladies and is never shy to try to “sweet talk” a solitary damsel sitting at the bar. His haste to do such things also leads to him getting captured only to make a grand iconic escape. There are even instances where the girls who aid his capture also aid his escape.

You can consider a bond girl a sort of unofficial sidekick, a partner in the shadows if you will. Throughout the franchise’s growth, there has been a beautifully stunning myriad of women from which to choose. So obviously, as the self-respecting bond fan that I am, I did not choose.

Conclusion

It was quite the experience, researching through the multitude of amazing women who have graced the silver screens beside the iconic character of James Bond. I discovered just how rich and immensely talented the crop of actors are. The depth the actors have to reach to embody the characters is impressive.

Many people think a bond girl is just a pretty face and a few lines, but then that is how you know folks that do not watch the movies. A bond girl is a truly important piece of the masterpiece, giving the otherwise rigid character a softer, more vulnerable side, which I cannot get enough of.
