Becoming a viral meme
Within a few days of Dr.Phil’s YouTube channel posting the clip to their channel, it would go viral, amassing tens of millions of views in the process. People from all across the internet were using this meme to express rebellious attitudes and even though Danielle was an incredibly troubled delinquent, people wanted to reclaim that rebellious nature for themselves. It wasn’t long after that Danielle used this newfound fame to monetize all the attention she was getting online.
Merchandising and launching a music career
Seeing as she could make some money, Danielle and her mother almost immediately launched some merch of clothes that paid tribute to that meme. She immediately saw this as a moment to capitalize and she wasn’t going to miss it for the world. She would then begin to become friends with some YouTubers and other rappers to familiarize herself with the online space. She didn’t just want to sell some merch, she fully had the intention to do this as a career for herself.
Establishing herself in online spaces
Due to the nature of YouTube, a lot of people wanted to meet Danielle for the sake of her being in their videos. One of these people was Vine star turned YouTuber, Logan Paul who would make a cooking video about Oreos in early 2017. This would help to give Danielle’s audience a better idea of what her personality was like when she wasn’t on cable television. It wouldn’t be the last time when she would shoot a video with Logan Paul and she would work with other YouTubers as well.
Kickstarting her YouTube channel
On April 4, 2017, Danielle would upload her very first video, answering questions that her fans would have. There would be videos of her talking about other YouTubers or of her listening to creepy stories. At the time, this was an incredibly popular YouTube trend and later she would copy one of the biggest YouTube channels that would, later on, amass a subscriber base of 7 and a half million subscribers. This was making music and for most YouTube audiences, this was a genius way to blow up your channel.
Getting in the music game
In the days of 2016, Hip hop was more popular than ever on the site. It seems like every big YouTuber knew a producer and had a studio because they were all making music videos. The algorithm would push that content into the user feeds the videos would get tens of millions of views for almost music video. This song was widely criticized by people who are deep into hip-hop, but it didn’t matter because people liked the song and were willing to see her on tour as well as book her for events.
Calling Out Dr. Phil
After gaining a massive audience due to her viral meme in 2016, Danielle would call out Dr. Phil’s Turn about Ranch in 2021 for allegations of the abuse of minors. It was a big turn in tone from what fans of Danielle expected because she’s always been very audacious and hyperbolic in her language to play a character. However, in this video, the allegations present her more in a human and vulnerable way that her fans likely hadn’t seen before.
Bad Bhabie OnlyFans
Bhad Bhabie has a massive social media presence with over 16 million followers on Instagram. The content itself is by no means the most unique that you could look at. But every time she does decide to post to YouTube or Instagram she gets massive engagement that any creator would be jealous of. In late 2021, Danielle would release her OnlyFans because she had turned 18 a few months prior. It’s estimated that she makes millions of dollars each month from this OnlyFans account alone but it isn’t known what kind of content is on the other side if you do choose to pay for it.
Between all of her social media accounts and her recent purchases such as her mansion, it’s estimated that her net worth is around $30 million. It was estimated when Forbes calculated her net worth in 2021, but that was before her OnlyFans account was made and she hadn’t purchased her mansion yet. Due to the pandemic coming to its natural end, she will begin going on tour again and it’s estimated to be much more lucrative than it was before. She could also be posting more content on YouTube which wouldn’t be that hard to do and she could even make more millions of dollars without much more effort.
