1. Spider Man (2002)

Spider Man is the first installment of the successful franchise. It stars Tobey Maguire, who portrays Peter Parker and will soon become Spider Man. 2. Spider Man 2 (2004)

It gave birth to another nemesis Dr. Octopus played by Alfred Molino. A stressed Peter Parker notices his Spider Man abilities fading. He resigns to this fate and tries to live a civilian life. Spider Man 3 is the third and final film that featured Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in leading roles. This time Spider Man battles an alien life form called a symbiote. It corrupts Peter and unleashes his darker side. He ends up hurting and offending the people who love him. The symbiote later transfers to another host named Eddie Brock Jr., played by Topher Grace. It leads to the birth of a new archenemy, Venom. The plot also includes Peter discovering more about the culprits of Uncle Ben’s death. 4. The Amazing Spider Man (2012)

The Amazing Spider Man is not a continuation of the first three movies produced in the early 2000s. This installment stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, the love interest. The plot reveals that Peter was abandoned as a child and taken in by his aunt and uncle. Years later, he discovers that a friend of his father named Dr. Curt Connors, played by Rhys Ifans, is working in Oscorp. In an attempt to break into Oscorp to meet Dr. Connors, Peter gets bitten by a genetically modified spider. Dr. Connors happens to be experimenting on himself to recover lost limbs. The procedure goes wrong and gives birth to another villain called the Lizard.

5. The Amazing Spider Man 2 (2014)

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 reprises Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in their roles. Spider-Man meets another foe named Electro, played by Jaimee Foxx, who challenges Spider Man’s abilities to the brink. Spider Man and Gwen work together to beat Electro and restore peace. However, danger still lurks as Harry Osborn, played by Dane DeHaan, takes the form of the Green Goblin. Spider Man and Gwen once again try to subdue the enemy. It results in victory but with a heartbreaking cost. Can Spider-Man continue his duties as things fall apart for him?

6. Spider Man Homecoming (2017)

Spider Man Homecoming explores the life of Spider Man as part of the Avengers. Tom Holland plays Spider Man, and Zendanya portrays MJ, an intellectual classmate of Peter. The plot is in a high school setting and gives the story a fresh vibe. Peter has to face the Vulture, played by Michael Keaton. Peter ends up going to the prom with the daughter of his enemy. Spider Man Far From Home still stars Tom Holland and Zendanya. This time Peter joins his high school classmates on a European trip. He is still mourning the loss of his mentor Tony Stark. Peter is contacted by Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, and asks him to do a mission. Peter initially declines, but the hero’s duties keep calling on him. Spider Man battles Mysterio, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal. After his victory, Peter returns to New York and begins a relationship with MJ. The film ends with a revelation of Spider Man’s true identity that shocks the whole world.

8. Spider Man No Way Home (2021)

Spider Man No Way Home takes after the events of the battle with Mysterio. Tom Holland and Zendaya stars in this installment. A marvel favorite, Dr. Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, makes an appearance. Dr. Strange tries to help Peter recover his anonymity, but it leads to mishaps one after another. The ruckus consists of various villains and arrivals of other Spider Men. To put things in order, Peter chooses to protect everyone and regain his secret identity. Dr. Strange fulfills the request at the cost of his loved ones forgetting the existence of Peter Parker in their life. He ends up starting anew and carries on with his superhero duties.
