First half of the show follows Navarro and Liz while they are entering into the underground ice caves in order to find out the last thing that Annie did, because in the previous episodes they learned that she found underground ice caves.

Then Navarro sees missing Raymond Clark in there, he was working at the TSALA outpost when the rest of the missing scientists disappeared. He was somehow related to Annie’s death and the death of his colleague.

But we still do not know how, and eventually Navarro and Liz get inside those ice caves as they were looking for answers and did not expect to find Raymond Clark down there.

Harsh Truth About What Happened to Annie

They captured him and learned the harsh truth from him, Annie was killed by him and his fellow scientists using their equipment with star shaped edges. That explains earlier finding on Anne’s body that she was stabbed over 30 times, (32 exactly).

Annie found out that they kept increasing pollution from the mines in order to have a more successful scientific breakthrough under the ice. When she got inside their lab and started destroying their work, that’s when they got angry and started stabbing her.

Raymond’s Sudden Death

As the night goes on, Liz wakes up finding Navarro outside looking at the frozen Raymond’s body, thinking Navarro did this.

Navarro’s Visions

Navarro get’s her vision again where she sees the Raymond inside the compound and telling her that “She’s Awake”.

After talking with Liz, Navarro mentions her son and how he is out there too, to what Liz get’s pissed and two of them get separated.

While Navarro goes after one of her visions yet again, Liz goes to search her and fells through ice into the water, and just in the last second Navarro saved her.

Revelation and Truth

As the investigation goes on, Liz remembers the hatch leading down into the ice caves and that whoever killed those scientists and tried to kill Raymond left their fingerprints on the hatch.

Evidence leads them at the end to a couple of local women who where Annie’s friend.

They for sure had the story to tell, but you will have to watch the tv show in order to find out what happened in their story.

Navarro and Liz chose the correct pathway at the end, some of you will probably not agree with the ending but… this is the way.
