Yolanda Hadid is a Dutch-American television personality, model, and interior designer who rose to fame as a cast member of the reality television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She is the mother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, and the ex-wife of real estate developer Mohamed Hadid.

Yolanda Hadid was born Yolanda van den Herik on January 11, 1964, in Papendrecht, Netherlands. She was raised in a strict Catholic family and was the eldest of seven children. She began modeling at the age of 16 and moved to Paris at the age of 18 to pursue a career in modeling. She eventually moved to Los Angeles, California, where she met her future husband, Mohamed Hadid.

Yolanda and Mohamed married in 1994 and had three children together: Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. Yolanda and Mohamed divorced in 2000.

Yolanda joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2012. She quickly became a fan favorite due to her down-to-earth personality and her close relationship with her children. She was also known for her philanthropic work, including her involvement with the Global Lyme Alliance, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Lyme disease research.

In 2015, Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a bacterial infection spread by ticks. She was forced to take a break from the show to focus on her health. She documented her battle with the disease on social media, and her story was featured in the documentary series, Yolanda Hadid: Brave in the Face of Lyme.

In 2017, Yolanda announced that she was leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after four seasons. She said that she wanted to focus on her health and spend more time with her family.

Yolanda Hadid is an inspiring example of resilience and strength. Despite her struggles with Lyme disease, she has continued to pursue her passions and make a difference in the lives of others.
