1. Heath Ledger

Ledger was found dead in his home apartment on January 22, 2008. 

The actor had passed away from an accidental prescription pill overdose. Fans and, surely, the whole world were shocked to hear the news of his demise. 

The actor is highly regarded as one of the best of his generation. The Australian was a true acting legend, and he was more than just a pretty face. 

He’s well-known for his performance in The Patriot and Brokeback Mountain. Ledger also won an Oscar for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

O’Rourke died on January 31, 1988, in San Diego. She went through a cardiac arrest due to a misdiagnosed congenital intestinal stenosis.  

Heather O’Rourke was famously known for her famous line in Steven Speilberg’s Poltergeist, ‘They are heeree!’ 

She also made guest appearances in various T.V. shows, including Happy Days.

Her debut album, ‘Age ain’t nothing but a number,’ gave her the fame and attention of the music industry and fans. She went platinum with her debut album within months of the release.

When Aaliyah and members of her recording studio were done making the music video for her single ‘Rock the boat’ in the Bahamas, their plane crashed. They were going back to the U.S., and everyone on board was killed.

4. Brad Renfro

Renfro quickly gained fame and became a teen heartthrob. Everyone expected him to be a successful actor in Hollywood. Still, he had legal troubles and struggled with alcohol and substances, depriving him of success. 

He faced trouble with substances during his later life. In 2005, Renfro was arrested and charged with possession of heroin. Then, in 2006, he went to rehab, but he violated his probation in 2007.

But during his glory, Cobain turned to alcohol and substances to help him cope with years of depression, fight the pressure of media, stomach pain, and chronic bronchitis.

Kurt committed suicide in April 1994 in his home, Seattle Lake, Washington.

6. Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur’s death happened because of the tragedy caused by the hip hop rivalry between the East Coast and West Coast. Shakur was originally from Harlem, but he started rapping in the early 1990s in California. 

As Shakur gained fame, he ran into many legal troubles. In 1993, Tupac was accused of sexually abusing a woman, and in 1994, he was convicted of attacking a former employer. 

While Shakur was in prison, he released ‘Me against the world,’ which topped the Billboard 200. 

On September 7, 1996, he was shot 12-13 times while driving through Las Vegas. He died 6 days later due to internal bleeding. There have been speculations that Biggie was involved in his death.

His album ‘Ready to Die’ was released when the East Coast and West Coast rivalry was going strong. Wallace later shifted his focus to New York; this created tension between him and Shakur. 

When Shakur died, there were rumors that Biggie was involved in it, but he denied all of the allegations. Wallace was shot to death while he was on his way to promote his upcoming album.

For Morrison, the most formative experience of his life was when he saw a car accident involving a group of American Indians. Jim later wrote a song about the incident titled ‘The Ghost Song’ and ‘Peace Frog.’

Later in 1971, Morisson moved to Paris, where he went through depression which may have driven him into heroin dependency. 

He died in July 1971 from what may have been believed a heroin overdose that led to heart failure. But there haven’t been any official autopsy death reports to this day.

According to Alan Johns, ‘Sid, on the image, is what all punk rests on.’ He lived the philosophy of ‘live fast, die young,’ which led him to get involved with substances. 

He was arrested and hospitalized for attempted suicide. Later, he was sent to prison for assault. 

When Sid came out of prison, he obtained heroin from his mother and overdosed. He was revived once, but his heart slowly stopped, and he passed away at the age of 21.

When they confronted Yolanda, he refused the allegations and did not give the paperback to Selena. He ended up shooting Selena in the back. 

The star was taken to the hospital but passed away because of excessive blood loss.
