Enel is a prominent character in the One Piece series, serving as the main antagonist of the Skypiea Arc. He is the former tyrannical ruler, or “God,” of Skypiea. Originally from Birka, Enel destroyed his homeland using the powers of the Goro Goro no Mi Devil Fruit and took over Skypiea. His ultimate goal was to reach “Fairy Vearth,” constructing a massive airship from Shandora’s gold to achieve this objective. After being defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, he traveled to the moon and became its new ruler.

Physical Appearance

Enel is a pale-skinned man with a well-toned yet somewhat wiry build, standing very tall at 266 cm (8’9″). He has blond hair set in a large perm, always tucked under a close-fitting, white skullcap. His earlobes stretch all the way to his chest due to being weighed down by gold earrings with diamond-shaped pendants.

Personality

Enel thinks of himself as an invincible god, fearless, childish, arrogant, and without a care in the world. He holds no regard for any life except his own and has no moral qualms about killing thousands. He is an amoral narcissist with a God complex.

Abilities and Powers

Enel possesses a Logia-type Devil Fruit known as the Goro Goro no Mi, which grants him the ability to create, control, and transform into electricity. He also has the ability to use Kenbunshoku Haki.

Special Note

After his defeat on Skypiea, Enel became the central character for “Enel’s Great Space Operations” Cover Page Serial. He has established a new empire on the moon with automata as his followers.
