Rob Lucci is a formidable character in the One Piece series, known for his cold and calculating demeanor. Initially introduced as a shipwright for the Galley-La Company in Water 7, he later reveals himself to be a member of Cipher Pol, the World Government’s secret intelligence agency. Lucci is a master of Rokushiki, a martial arts style that grants him superhuman abilities, and he also possesses a Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows him to transform into a leopard. He serves as the main antagonist of the Water 7 Arc and one of the two main antagonists of the Enies Lobby Arc.

Physical Appearance

Rob Lucci is a tall and slim yet muscular man with arched eyebrows and a close-shaved goatee. He has shoulder-length wavy black hair and a tattoo of a crossed-out square on each upper arm. He also has five cannonball scars on his back in the shape of the World Government symbol. His pet pigeon, Hattori, is usually perched on his right shoulder.

Personality

Lucci is a cold, distant, and highly focused individual. He is almost completely sociopathic and amoral, showing no concern for the lives or feelings of others. During his time undercover, he remained silent and used Hattori as his preferred method of communication. Once his true identity was revealed, he showed his true colors as a ruthless and efficient killer.

Abilities and Powers

Rob Lucci is an incredibly skilled martial artist, specializing in the Rokushiki style, which grants him six different types of superhuman abilities. He also possesses a Zoan-type Devil Fruit, which allows him to transform into a leopard. Lucci has also shown proficiency in Haki, specifically Busoshoku and Kenbunshoku Haki.

Role in the Series

Rob Lucci serves as a major antagonist in the series, particularly in the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs. After his defeat at the hands of Monkey D. Luffy, he was dismissed from CP9. However, he managed to be reinstated into Cipher Pol and is currently a part of CP0, serving as Spandam’s superior.
