Seinfeld was not technically cancelled. The show ended because Jerry Seinfeld decided to stop producing new episodes while the show was still popular.

Seinfeld, one of the most popular and influential sitcoms of all time, did not get cancelled in the traditional sense. The show was still at the peak of its popularity when the decision was made to end it. The primary reason for this was Jerry Seinfeld himself. Despite NBC’s offer of over $5 million per episode for a tenth season, Seinfeld decided to end the show. He wanted to go out on top and believed that nine years was long enough for the show. He didn’t want the quality to decline and for the show to overstay its welcome. So, in essence, Seinfeld ended because its namesake star decided it was time.
